This is my entry for the Spirit contest held by =votrereine (News Article-[link])
The theme was spirit, and this piece was inspired by the incorporeal beings being... well incorporeal lol. The woman in this is ghost or spirit, hence the transparency. The Humming Bird represents life... and the spirit is unable to touch it... even so close. It's quite sad really. I am fairly happy with this. I am beginning to paint more, and (most) of the skin and all the hair was painted by me  . I really like the colour scheme... especially the difference in colour between the bird and everything else . Any critique on anything I might have missed please comment .
