Wow I havn't submitted something in... agggeesss :fear:. But your friendly neighbourhood deviant (lol) is back with Autumn Leaves :D.

First of, I think that this would an apt dedication for the wonderfully talented artist =freaky665. Like me she is young and she is one of my favourite artists here on DA. Her painting skills are equally matched by her photoshop skills... I command thee to look at her gallery :poke:.

Anyway, I am incredably happy with how this turned out. The model is two pictures, the body and her arm. All of the model but the leaves and necklace have been repainted. I am proud of how natural the arm looks :D This is my first (finished) paintings, so I'm happy with it :). Critique is greatly encouraged, I really would like my painting skills to improve. I hope you people like it, I know I certainly do!

The composition here is just gorgeous; the colors give a good feel as well, but I like that you've made it look more painterly than anything; I had to go check to see what category you'd submitted it under to realize it was a photomanipulation, lol! Well done!

LOL hear hear. I have a pile of homework too, that's just waiting for me on the other side of the room. I'm trying to avoid it, at the moment ;) If you've postworked it then adding some glowy effects to the mountains will be even easier, I think, because you can just paint them in. Of course this is just my opinion and you dont have to change anything if you don't want to since it's...you know, yours ;)
